McClain’s Bi-Rite…Used to love going in that store after school. This was back in 1966 I believe. I think Harold ran it. Awesome nice man. Gave me a piece of penny candy while I waited for my dad to pick me up after work. Don’t know why I didn’t ride the bus. Reckon Mr. McClain and the store was better, plus, never knew when Sherry Moore’d stop in there as an added bonus! Nice families and their kin…something I miss. But my family of a wife and 10 kids, awesome too!
