It is with great sympathy the Board of Managers for River Plantation Section Eight share their condolences in the passing of Mrs. Becky Goree.

Becky was very special to the Board in so many ways. First, as a resident everyone wanted to live next to. Secondly, her passion and love for her Family and her many friends she had in our development and her unselfish
advocate for planting and maintaining the total acreage of our entire development.

She was up at the crack of dawn and working many times late into the afternoon to maintain the plants, shrubs and trees in this residential development. Her knowledge of plants and shrubs was exceptional and she used this expertise to make River Plantation Section Eight a place to visit and a place one would want to live in. She, also, supervised the contractor who weekly cut the grass and maintained the Association’s property per her instructions.

She was not a person who took a causal approach in this work. Her work ethics and commitment to this effort were exceptional. From late January to mid December, she maintained our entire development. Monthly, she appeared before the Board and gave the Board a clear understanding of what had been done and what needed to be done.

She will always be remembered as a wonderful neighbor, her love and caring for her Family and her commitment to this Association. No one will be able to fill her role as well as she did.
