We loved Aunt Littie very much! When she visited Florida, my mother was so happy. They would sit up all night just talking and laughing like little girls. Great memories! I picture a big reunion in heaven tonight!

For so many years after Robert and I were married, I wanted to have a baby but thought it was not meant to be until December 2002. I immediately left the doctor’s office and went to Nanny and Papa’s house. Nanny answered the door and saw that I was crying. She asked why I was there and why I was upset. I told her I just left the doctor’s office and that he said congratulations, I was pregnant. Nanny’s eyes lit up and she squeezed me harder than I could ever remember. She and Mama and Aunt Louise were at the hospital with me until after Antonia was born. Then 15 months later, Nanny and Papa took me to the hospital to have Zandria. My girls and I have been fully blessed to have all these years with such a beautiful and precious woman. She loved cooking for us and even went out of her way to make food my girls would eat. She always expressed her wisdom from her Bible studies and really enjoyed sitting in church with my girls. I love you Nanny and I thank you for everything you did for me and my family.
