Laura was special. She bloomed in all seasons and increasingly reflected the light she saw from the Lord. It is good that I can think of Wes and she together now. They were both a step ahead of the placid countryside of Tennessee, and seemed to enjoy the slower pace of the mid-south. I am so grateful to know that she had wonderful saints around her these past few years . She is one we will all seek out to find and see what a beautiful spot she has found in His heaven.

Laura was a kind and gentle soul with an enormous artist gift. She loved her family above all. So honored that we were friends.

Laura was an old friend and co-worker from Digital in New Hampshire. She and Wes were my mentors as I had just started with Digital Equipment Corp. after college. She was an amazing person and good friend. I’m sorry and very sad that I didn’t get to see her before she died. I just emailed her not to long ago too. 🙁
My condolences to the family. She and Wes were amazing people and I’m glad that they were a part of my life for a while.

Wes and I met at Time Incorporated in 1961, and stayed close through 1993 when my attachment to Digital Equipment ended. I was privileged to to take part in his wedding with Laura. I knew Stacey in her early years, but never had the opportunity to know Ashley. I would enjoy sharing fun stories with you, should you be interested. My deepest condolences. A lot of us owe a great deal to both Wes and Laura.
