I have had the privilege of knowing this man for over 15 yrs. And gladly call him my friend. It saddens me to hear of his untimely passing. My condolences to his family. But know this, he had a very large and loving family outside of his bloodline. And he will be greatly missed in this world. RIP my friend. Until we meet again. Your brother, James.

We have been friends so long. I watched you grow into a good friend, good father, awesome person. I will miss your fantastic sense of humor. No one had a View of the world quite like you. No matter how bad things got you would always make me laugh and get passed it. By no means were you perfect but I wouldn’t want you to be any other way. The music industry will definitely be less musical without you my friend. Until we meet again.R.I.P. Love you brother.

Although I didn’t get the opportunity to get to know you extremely well, I could tell that you were a great guy with a gentle soul. I enjoyed the times that we got to work together. Your presence on stage will be sadly missed. My prayers go out for your family as they deal with the loss of your physical presence in their lives. Gone but not forgotten. Rest in peace brother, see you on the other side!

You were always welcome at my home and I remember when you were here a little over a week ago to visit Elvis and gave me a hug …. not knowing it would be the last. You were always respectful and had a smile and that is what I will remember. Another gone too soon – rest in peace!!

My thoughts are with the Tweedy family. Loss is difficult. Lean in on Jesus, He is our rock. This was my last message to Tweedy, I hope he did. He spoke like he wanted to.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. May the words of Christ Jesus be of comfort to you which he states that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. We are also comforted by God’s promise to wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes forever and to swallow up death forever.

My dear dear sweet baby brother. I miss you sooo very much. My poor heart is shattered and I will never be the same. I love you so very much. I will cherish our memories forever, like the time you heard me rockin on KISS and you came back to my room for our customary jam, n you started screaming bloody murder and ran screaming from my room. Mom came back and asked, “what’s wrong with Kris?” and I told her I was as much at a loss as she was. It turned out that the Emerson Lake & Palmer album Brain Salad Surgery was lying on the floor and the album cover absolutely terrified you. From then on I kept it put up. We had some great times jammin to some great tunes and I am so grateful I could turn you on to such great music at an early age. You told me once that I was the reason you started playing bass guitar. I have always cherished such praise from you. We were gonna start a band together, but you left me and now I just feel lost and heartbroken. I know you’re in a better place and that you left all your pain down here, but I’m selfish and I want you back. I can’t stay the flow of tears, but I’m being strong for mom and I’m taking care of her. I was there when you were born. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. I named you. Haha, I was only ten. Rest peacefully, sweet prince. May God hold you and keep you forever. I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU. Peace. Your Loving Brother, Wes

I worked with your dad in 1977. He (& Scotty Moore) arranged/recorded some songs for me. He was amazing. In researching him online, I came across your information. I was hoping to touch base with and share some things with you. Then, I was shocked to read of your passing. You sound like a great and talented person. I’m deeply sorry of the news, and that I came to learn of you too late. May the Lord bless and watch over you.
