My heart is broken at the loss of Buddy. I’ve always called him Buddy and he always called me Phyllis Ann. No one ever used my middle name except Joe and Bobby. When the phone would ring and someone on the other end said Hey Phyllis Ann, I knew it was one of them. We used to go to there house or they’d be at our house when we were growing up. We spent many hours playing and getting into things. It’s a wonder Aunt Willie Mae and mama kept up with us. AlthoughI didn’t hear from Buddy much anymore, I loved him dearly. I know Buddy has not been the same since the loss of Jesse. She was the love of his life and part of him died the day she died. I know he’s with Jesse now, and though we’ll miss him, he’s at peace now and everything is all right with him now. Sorry I can’t be there for the funeral, but I’ll have you and the family in my prayers. Love, Phyllis Ann (Roberts) Latham, Wynne, Arkansas

Hi Roberts Family, my heart is so full for all of you. I think of your parents so very often. Talk to you Dad, couple times Oh,, he was so lost and lonely for Jessie Mae. They loved one another so much and depended on on another. The last time I talk to her she was so worried and concerned about your Dad’s health. I know they are with God, and together with no health problems. Having a GREAT gathering of all loved ones, sing Praises to GOD. My prayers are with you all. I will truly miss your Beautiful Parents. Love to all
