Holly, I was certainly honored to talk with Jimmy about what he believed about Jesus. As you can confirm, Jimmy expressed his belief that Jesus is who he claimed to be, the Son of the living God. As it states in Romans 10:9 “If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that he was raised from the dead then you are saved.” There is nothing we can do to make God love us any more and nothing we have done to make him love us any less. His love is based on his mercy and the finished act of Jesus on the cross and not on our performance.
