The last time I saw Chase was at our Class Reunion in 2017. I remember looking around and seeing him with that big smile on his face as he greeted some of us with a big hug! This news has sadden so many of us that knew him in school. He always made us laugh. Jace was gentle giant with a big heart. He will be missed by so many. Praying peace for the family and friends.

I didn’t know Jay as I called him very well, but worked with him on several job sites. One morning he saw me eating a McDonald’s sausage biscuit and came up to me and stated:” I’m going to bring you a REAL breakfast sandwich”. The next morning Jay handed me the best steak sandwich I think I have ever had. He wouldn’t let me pay him back for it. A small moment with a life time memory. My prayers go out to his family.

Jace was always stopping by our house for a game of basketball. We would have some of the best games and maybe not so great moments, like when he threw a pass that went through a bedroom window. It has been about 40 + years since I have seen him. From all of the precious comments I have read, he never changed. Wish the world had more just like him. Jace, rest in the arms of Jesus and his amazing grace.
    Praying for your sweet family.

Jace was a great friend and classmate “1977.” He was a big Teddy Bear with a heart of gold. He was always cutting up with everyone around. I can still his laughter as he pulled jokes on everyone. His hugs were always a great big bear hug. Jace you will be missed by so many people. I will miss you greeting me with “”Hey Bubbles, how are you doing?” RIP until we all see you again! 🐻🌹❤️

Jace was a patient at our dental office. Years ago he came to an appointment with mud falling off his work boots making quite a mess! Victoria, his hygienist, grabbed a broom, wacked him a few times and made him clean up. After that he always came in wearing clean tennis shoes! He was such a fun guy. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends.

Our family met Jace through a dear friend Rhonda Curry! He would attend church services with Rhonda and we immediately grew to love him! He always had a sweet smile and gentle way about himself! We shared lots of laughs and funny stories in the time we knew him! Memories of him will be cherished and he will be missed by so many! Good bye gentle giant!
