Daddy. You and Momma accepted me with open arms when Dennis and I first married. July 74.
You ALWAYS made sure we had necessities for our little family when we evangelised.
You worked many of overtime hours to provide for US!
I told you many times over the years how thankful I was for you sending monthly support while my babies were growing up.
You had such a huge heart .
I will never forget our singing fests in the dining room. Me on piano and you with your songbook.
I love you and Momma and cherish the 5 short years I was apart of yalls lives.
My kids will miss you dearly.

Did you know Hassie Mae Hodge Boyd or any of her siblings out in the Yuma area? Or Rodney Boyd? Some of the Waughs are buried in my families cemetery. Was Boyd now it’s Farmville I believe they changed it too. Pawpaw was my granny Hassie Mae Hodges cousin. She married my grandpa a preacher Rodney Boyd. Pawpaws son Dennis is my father in Law. He married my husband’s mother Lee. Nicks his name her oldest boy. Pawpaws grandson by marriage. So Dennis and Pawpaw to me are not only family through marriage but are my cousins way on down the list. It’s crazy. Sorry for your loss too.

I have been absolutely heart broken since finding out the news of Burk’s passing. It was a pleasure getting to know you, and being your nurse for almost 2 years. I will forever cherish all of our many long talks, your delicious chili/vegetable soup, dr peppers, watching young and the restless together, teaching me how to make the perfect fried egg and bacon, and your all of your wisdom/advice. You were more than a patient, you were family. I will greatly miss you and your warm hugs!
