I, too, am Anne’s cousin (granddaughter of Cynthia and Gib Boswell). I first met Anne at the funeral of another relative (perhaps Uncle Andy?) when we were in high school. I didn’t see Anne often, as we lived in different areas, but I saw her last summer at Harold Boswell’s. I always enjoyed our conversations and thought highly of her. I know her family and close friends will miss her greatly.

Don, I can’t begin to tell you how much you and Anne have meant to me over the past 14 years. It seems as though 2002 was such a long time ago. Her can do attitude, voluminous amount of good deeds and that whimsical smile will long be remembered by her many friends and Sisters and Brothers in the OES. My most prized photograph is the one she took at the hotel for Bluff City’s 2004 Official Visit of Johnny, Kim, Abbygail and myself. Even though she is not in the picture I am reminded of Anne every time I look at that photograph. Don, I asked Gay to pass along why I can’t be there for her celebration of life but I pass along to you my sincerest sympathy, love and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your family member to the enemy death as mentioned in the Bible at 1 Corinthians 15:26 “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” The Bible also states in Isaiah 25:8 “He (Jehovah/Creator) will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, For Jehovah himself has spoken it. You can learn more about death and the hope for your loved one.
