Albert “Stumpy” Scott born in Nashville, TN on March 26, 1937 died on October 24, 2019 at the age of 82.

He is preceded in death by his wife Donna Sue Sowell and survived by his children Jackie Hutcherson, Lori Smith, Gina Scarbrough, and Barry Scott; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Stumpy was a caring and loving husband and father. A hardworking, diesel mechanic for many years, he took pride in being the sole provider for his family, allowing his wife to take on the duties of mother and homemaker. He raised his children with love and devotion, inspiring in them the same charitable qualities as he had throughout his life.

Visitation for Stumpy will be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home Sunday, October 27th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and again on Monday, October 28th from 10:00am to 11:00am with services beginning at 11am in the Chapel.

    I’m very sorry and sad to have heard the new about Stumpy. He was a good and kind man, and I will always remember him with laughter and a smile. My condolences to all his family for there lose. This will be a lesser place without him, he was a great man! Well done Stumpy, go be with Donna and you and Pee-Wee stay out of trouble up there.

    Mr. Scott sure was a good man and a good neighbor to my grandparents. He was very sweet and I loved him and his wife. Rest In Peace Stumpy. Gone but never forgotten
