Harpeth Family offers many options to those choosing cremation. Many people believe that at the time of death only two basic choices exist - Immediate cremation of the body or a complete funeral including viewing, followed by burial. Actually, these are extremes. Several choices are available to those who prefer cremation - perhaps even more than with burial. With each cremation the family will have to make two selections. First, a cremation casket or alternative container for the body and second, an urn in which to place the cremated remains. We own and operate our own crematory and welcome your inspection. Our crematory is clean, located at West Harpeth Funeral Home, and represents the newest and cleanest technology. We hear from an increasing number of people who are concerned about the cremation process. Please know that we are pleased to relate the strict procedures we adhere to for every cremation.
